The fellowship hall at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Enterprise, AL, was buzzing with activity as the ladies of the Mary Martha Society at Christ the King hosted the Central Alabama Zone Fall Rally on October 20th.
The theme of the rally was, “Trust in the One Who Made the Stars.” The Bible study, based on Jeremiah 33:2-3, was led by the Rev. Mark Kocsis from Trinity Lutheran Church in Dothan, AL. Rev. Lavaughn Wiggins from Unity Lutheran Church in Montgomery, AL, led the communion service for the forty-seven ladies in attendance. After lunch the ladies made a special ornament for themselves, and Zone President Gwen Dixon led the business portion of the meeting, presenting vital information regarding the National Convention to be held in Mobile in June 2019. The Gifts from the Heart donations were school supplies that are to be used for one of the servant events during the 2019 Convention. There were over 1,729 items collected—ranging from backpacks, to pencils, to erasers. To God be the glory!
