On July 30, 2016, the Board of Evangelism / Outreach at Jehovah Lutheran Church in Pensacola, FL, sponsored a back-to-school event for our neighbors in the Gonzalez Court Community. Nearly 100 children benefited from the school supply giveaway. All in attendance experienced a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed the free food prepared by the men of Jehovah. The parents and children genuinely expressed their gratitude for the school supplies and food.
On September 11, Jehovah honored cancer survivors and grandparents. Members of the church wore pink to celebrate “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.” The children read poems about their grandparents during the children’s sermon. Refreshments were served in the fellowship hall to commemorate Pink Sunday and Grandparents Day.
